Dr. Vidlock is one of the original people involved in the SPRING Forward research and a founding member of this group. Vice President and Director of Communication

Catherine Liggett is currently a medical student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2020 where she also ran cross country/track and field. During this time, Catherine struggled with disordered eating and RED-S leading to numerous stress fractures and other injuries. After graduating college, Catherine wanted to help create a program to guide young female athletes through balanced approaches to nutrition, exercise and body image within sport. She was one of the original individuals involved with the SPRING Forward research and a founding member of the group. Catherine’s hope with SPRING Forward is to educate the next generation of female athletes to approach sport in a more positive way, and to avoid a college experience like hers riddled with eating issues and constant injuries. She enjoys trail running, hiking and other outdoor activities.
